Once interest is confirmed, each employee can configure their bike through a dedicated form.
Businesses can benefit from several financial incentives:
•Tax deduction: Up to 25% of expenses for company bikes can be deducted from corporate taxes.
•Eligibility criteria:
•The employer must cover at least 70% of the monthly lease payment.
•The lease contract must have a minimum duration of 36 months.
No. According to URSSAF, providing a company bike is not considered a taxable benefit. This means:
•No additional employer social charges.
•No additional employee taxation or contributions.
Yes. Depending on your company’s location, we can organize a test ride day to allow employees to try out the bikes and explore the different models available.
Yes. At the end of the lease, Welgo offers an advantageous buyout option. Typically, the bike and its accessories (helmet, lock, etc.) can be purchased for 20% of their original retail price (incl. VAT).
There are three possible options:
1.Bike buyout: The employee can purchase their bike at a preferential price.
2.Contract transfer: The bike lease can be transferred to another employee.
3.Early termination: Depending on the contract terms, early termination may be possible.
The company is billed for the full lease amount. However, an employee contribution can be set up to offset or reduce this cost. This contribution is directly deducted from the employee’s gross salary, similar to company-sponsored health insurance.
